What GambIX is
A workspace for small agencies, IT firms and consultants: clients, work, finance and team in one place.
GambIX is a web app for firms that sell time and subscriptions: 2 to about 30 people, with clients on retainers and on hourly rates, hours to track, last month’s invoices and a pack of documents for the accountant.
It is closest to a professional services automation (PSA) tool with a light CRM. It does not try to be an ERP: no warehouse, no production and no bookkeeping of its own. The accountant stays in their own program, and GambIX prepares everything for them.
GambIX is being built now and arrives at app.gambix.tech in stages. This documentation describes how each module is designed and in which stage it arrives. See Early access and the Roadmap.
Today
Tuesday, 3 November4 tasks for today, 2 overdue. October invoices are due by the 10th: 5 of 7 are ready.
The core ideas
- The client is the centre. Work on a client happens inside that client, like a separate dashboard.
- The system works, you decide. It prepares invoices, collects documents and reconciles the bank, and shows you only what needs a decision.
- Few fields. A task takes four fields, or your voice.
- Google everywhere. Calendar, Drive, Gmail and Meet instead of copies.
- No passwords for clients. Quotes and the portal use a private link and an emailed code.
- Notifications are rare. Only when you have to act.
What GambIX is not
- Not an accounting program, and it does not issue invoices. It prepares them and hands them to the program you issue them in.
- Not a warehouse or production system.
- Not a replacement for Google: it uses Calendar, Drive, Gmail and Meet.
How it is offered
GambIX is a hosted product: one platform for many firms, each isolated from the others. It is sold by DIPIT-AP EOOD, like the other services of GambIT Technologies.
