The “Ask” panel (⌘J) is Claude inside the app. You ask in plain language about a client, a task or finance.
- With your rights. It answers only from data you can access.
- With sources. Every number comes with a list of where it was taken from: finance, a bank statement, a meeting, a file.
- With a suggested action. It may suggest “draft a reminder to a client” but never sends it on its own.
- Honest about uncertainty. When a summary comes from a meeting recording, it tells you to check it.

- How much am I owed and who is late?
- What did we agree with the client at the last meeting?
- Who is over 40 hours this week?
- Which October invoices have not been issued yet?
Claude is also behind voice tasks, invoice reading, meeting summaries and the “Today” briefing.
